How premium round billets are transformed into structural high-performance tubes
Chemistry-verified solid round billets are heated to 1200°C in our hearth furnace, then immediately pierced with a center mandrel to form the initial hollow shell.
The hollow shells are lubricated and drawn through tungsten carbide dies or rolled in cold pilger mills to achieve precise wall thickness (WT) and outer diameter (OD) tolerances.
Tubes are heat treated at 1050°C in a pure hydrogen atmosphere. Rapid cooling recrystallizes the steel, returning elasticity and maximum corrosion thresholds without oxidation scale.
Every single tube is subjected to up to 300 bar hydrostatic pressure checks, online Eddy Current scans, and ultrasonic testing to catch inclusions or weld flaws.
Pipes are cleaned, passivated, and stencil-marked with standard, size, heat number, and grade details. Wrapped in protective sleeves and packed into seaworthy wooden crates for international transport.
